Gold Spectrum fights to keep THCa hemp products legal in Tennessee
Yesterday, 12/18/2024, Gold Spectrum, The Smoky Grass Station, and the Tennessee Growers Coalition met with some of our local media providers at Channel 5 WCYB to discuss the pending legal status changes to THCa and Hemp Products in the state of Tennessee, and the impact that a legal change would have on local employers, and consumers.
Gold Spectrum has partnered with the Tennessee Growers Coalition to support the fight to keep THCa hemp products legal in our state.

Connor Murray -“We would be unable to continue our operation and continue growing our business as we would like to, so that will force us to look in the different alternatives of moving out of state. 75% of our business would go away overnight,”-Kelly Hess -“Those rules unfortunately would be completely detrimental to the entire industry,” she said. “These rules don't do anything besides ban Tennessee small businesses from selling them. They don't get rid of them in the marketplace. They are still federally legal, and you can even if I can't go down to the store and get them, I can go online and get it from out of state,”
We anticipate to hear a final ruling this week on the legal status of THCa and Hemp Products as a whole.
